The Metodo Classico Extra Brut of Cantina Puiatti is made from Ribolla Gialla grapes, an indigenous Friulian variety that produces fresh and vibrant wines. Produced in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, this sparkling wine stands out for its elegant minerality typical of the region. The classic method aging imparts finesse and complexity to the foam, with very fine bubbles accompanying a sip with clear and dry flavors, typical of an Extra Brut.

On the nose, delicate notes of white-fleshed fruit emerge, such as green apple and pear, accompanied by subtle floral hints and a slight yeast nuance due to the bottle fermentation. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a savory vein that recalls the soil of origin, ideal for an elegant aperitif or to accompany light dishes of fish and shellfish. A Metodo Classico that enhances the authentic character of Ribolla Gialla, perfect for those seeking a refined and regional experience.

Winery history
Active since 1967 in the Isonzo/Friuli area, Cantina Puiatti has established itself as a producer dedicated to the modern reinterpretation of Friulian white wines. Over the years it has maintained a distinctive style focused on the pursuit of freshness and aromatic clarity, while remaining part of larger ownership groups within the wine sector.
Production philosophy
The winery favors the fullest expression of fruit and terroir: vinification in stainless steel, fermentation and aging on the fine lees, and limited or no use of wood for the whites. It also promotes sustainable vineyard practices with measures aimed at preserving biodiversity and soils.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills and along the banks of the Isonzo, in a microclimate that combines Mediterranean influences with continental currents. Gravelly, pebbly soils impart sapidity and minerality to the wines, while moderate diurnal temperature variations encourage slow, balanced ripening.
