Since 1992 Piera Martellozzo has been at the helm of Piera1899; cornerstone of its virtues are: professionalism, awareness and openness to the new. In a short time, Piera managed to grow her work group, building a well-prepared and cohesive team of professionals with whom she shares the ambition for quality and respect for the environment in which she operates.
The harvest takes place starting from mid-September; the grapes are subjected to a soft pressing and to a fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 15°-16° C. Charmat method with second fermentation in an autoclave, with yeasts originating in the area, for three months.
In the goblet it has a cStraw yellow color with greenish reflections, fine and persistent perlage. On the nose the bouquet is fruity with hints of pear, golden apple and almond. On the palate it is dry, sapid with floral and fruity notes.
Prosecco is a very versatile wine. Excellent as an aperitif, with dishes based on fish or white meat, but also perfect throughout the meal.
