Bertani Winery

Cantina Bertani The Bertani winery was founded in 1857. Bertani was born with the unification of Italy, with the desire and pride to represent the excellence of a new nation with a millenary culture.

This commitment and the quality of its wines earned Bertani, in 1923, the distinctive symbol of achieving excellence: the royal house patent. Although, now that Italy is a Republic, it is a fallen symbol, it still represents the achievement of the highest quality.

In the mid-twentieth century, with the acquisition of Tenuta Novare, in Valpolicella Classica, Bertani concretized the half-century-long research to produce "Wine", the one that was created to last forever.

It is here, in fact, that the history of Amarone begins, a symbolic wine of the territory from which it is born, whose first vintage dates back to 1958.
