Winery history Baracchi Winery

The Baracchi family has grown vines in the Cortona area for generations. The estate traces its origins back to 1860 and today continues producing wine by combining family tradition with modern winemaking techniques.

Production philosophy

Showcase the Cortona area by translating the characteristics of individual crus into expressive wines: careful grape selection, contemporary winemaking techniques, and a strong connection between wine production and hospitality.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located on the hills of Valdichiana/Cortona, distributed across four areas with stony, sandy and sometimes calcareous soils; some parcels reach elevations of around 500–600 metres a.s.l, providing diurnal temperature variations that enhance aromatic concentration.
