The story
The Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV) was established in the 1960s (CIV: 1961 in sources) and, after consolidation of local cooperatives, evolved into the group known as Cantine Riunite & CIV; the aggregation/merger with Cantine Riunite is documented in the 2000s.
Production philosophy
Cooperative model with control of the supply chain "from vine to bottle", large-scale production of everyday and sparkling wines, with stated attention to environmental and quality matters.
