The story
The estate was purchased and renamed Casanova di Neri by Giovanni Neri in the early 1970s; the company quickly developed, focusing on vineyard selection and Brunello di Montalcino, with the first bottles in the 1970s and the development of single-cru wines such as Cerretalto and Tenuta Nuova. In the following years management passed to the next generation and the winery established itself internationally, receiving accolades and numerous high scores.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of terroir expression through the selection of individual vineyards, careful agronomic management in the vineyard and winemaking practices designed to preserve the fruit. An approach that combines tradition and innovation, with attention to integrating the winery into the landscape and to low-impact practices.
