Winery history Cerbaiona

The estate is documented as far back as 1454, when vineyards and properties were already recorded there. The manor house and small church date to the 17th century. Since 2015, Cerbaiona has been led by Gary Rieschel and Matthew Fioretti.

Production philosophy

Cerbaiona combines artisanal tradition with scientific rigour, seeking a balance between tradition and the needs of the present. Since 2016, it has renewed its vineyards using the alberello training system and modernised its cellars.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in Montalcino, in the Cerbaia area, at approximately 400 metres above sea level.
