Winery history Dei

The winery’s story began in 1964, when Alibrando Dei bought land in Bossona and planted the first vineyards there. In the 1970s, the estate expanded with the purchase of Villa Martiena and the surrounding vineyards. In 1985, the family produced its first bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

Production philosophy

The winery seeks to preserve the balance between land and people, respect the environment, and bring out the character of each vineyard. It cultivates its vines using sustainable practices and combines artisanal care in the cellar with innovation, without abandoning tradition.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in the Montepulciano area and comprise five estates: Martiena, Bossona, La Ciarliana, La Piaggia, and Cervognano. The individual plots each have their own soil and climatic characteristics.
