Winery history G. Rinaldi

The G. Rinaldi winery is a traditional point of reference in the Barolo region. Giuseppe “Beppe” Rinaldi was central to the estate’s renown: a veterinarian turned winemaker, he was recognized as one of the foremost traditional interpreters of Barolo. After his passing, management continued with his daughters, who today carry on the estate management and vineyard work. The estate has historically bottled Barolo from several crus, including Brunate, Le Coste, Cannubi–San Lorenzo and Ravera.

Production philosophy

An approach strongly rooted in tradition and the local terroir: long fermentations and macerations, use of large neutral casks rather than small barriques, and a focus on highlighting the character of individual vineyards rather than modern techniques. The style favors the longevity and elegance of Nebbiolo over early drinkability.

Municipality of Barolo, Langhe. The winery's vineyards and labels are linked to historic Barolo crus such as Brunate, Le Coste, Cannubi–San Lorenzo, Ravera and Bussia.
