The story
The Frescobaldi family has produced wine in Tuscany since the 14th century. Owned by the family since the 11th century, Tenuta Castiglioni is described as the oldest Frescobaldi agricultural estate; wine production there is documented from 1300.
Production philosophy
To showcase the diversity of its territories through wines that express their terroir while respecting nature and authenticity.
Terroir and vineyards
Tenuta Castiglioni is situated in the gentle hills of Val di Pesa, in the Montespertoli area. Fresh clay soils, a mild climate and afternoon breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea favor distinctly fruity wines.
