The story
Founded in Finale Emilia (Modena) in 1814 as a small workshop producing anise liqueurs, Casoni grew over time to become one of the oldest and best-known Italian companies in the liqueur and spirits sector. Over the decades the family management alternated phases of industrial expansion, automation and internationalization (including a new production facility opened in Slovakia in the 1990s). After ownership changes, the company returned to family hands in 2016, continuing to renew its range and image while preserving historic recipes.
Production philosophy
Combines tradition and craft know-how with an industrial approach to ensure volumes and quality: valorization of historical recipes, use of botanical ingredients across references and attention to product innovation and contract services.
Territory
Historic headquarters in Finale Emilia (Province of Modena), serving both the domestic market and international export.
Production method
Production based on the processing of herbs, roots and peels, using typical liqueur-making techniques (infusions/macerations and assemblages) carried out at the Finale Emilia facility and in external production sites for certain industrial capacities; it also provides customized production services for third parties.
