The story
The idea was born during founders Benedetta Santinelli and Simone Rachetta's trip to Okinawa. Fascinated by goya, they conducted about two years of experimentation during the lockdown to refine the recipe. Production, entrusted to a historic Italian distillery with liquor-making know-how, launched on the market in January 2023 with distribution handled by Velier.
Production philosophy
To build a bridge between Japanese culinary culture and the Italian amaro tradition, highlighting authentic eastern ingredients and an artisanal approach that prioritizes infusion and respect for the product both at the table and in mixology.
Territory
Designed and produced in Italy with ingredients imported from Japan (oriental botanicals); cultural and organoleptic inspiration linked to the island of Okinawa, Japan.
Production method
Small-batch production by infusion of goya and oriental botanicals; an artisanal process carried out by craftsmen at a family-run Italian distillery, with each phase performed manually.
