The soil conformation of the vineyards is medium-textured tending towards clayey and they are at an altitude of 250 m a.s.l. The harvest is done manually in the first week of October.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 24-26 degrees, followed by aging for 2 months in steel tanks and a further 3 months in the bottle.
Lacrima di Morro is excellent consumed young. The floral bouquet where the notes of wild violet prevail, and the good body, make it much appreciated by a vast female audience.
It is a red that can be served chilled and goes very well with marinated soups or with the famous fish "brodetto" of the Adriatic coast.
