It brings to the eye with intense red almost black colors. Rich in ripe fruit, balsamic scorns and brushstrokes of vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the nose, hints of withered and ripe fruit among the juiciest. Extremely structured, warm and elegant on the palate, with flavors of tobacco, dried fruit and vanilla.
The more you taste it, the more you perceive fantastic evolutions of flavors
It comes from a careful selection of Negroamaro grapes from an old sapling-trained vineyard. The grapes, first brought to maturity, are then left to dry on racks. The name of the wine derives from the "Graticciaia ". Produced with vinification and fermentation techniques completely different from traditional techniques. When the withering is completed, the grapes move on to vinification. Wine aged in French oak barrels. The temperature of the must is strictly regulated throughout the slow fermentation process and aging is done in small wooden barrels.
