Brewdog Punk IPA is an excellent Scottish India Pale Ale-style beer inspired by the latest American trends in brewing and hop selection. A beer with a lot of hop concentration, like those currently produced in craft breweries in the United States.
For the brewing of this IPA, Marris Otter Extra Pale is used as the base malt, while Chinook, Simcoe, Ahtanum, and Nelson Sauvin hop varieties are added to flavor the beer.
The color is blond/orange reminiscent of yellow peaches, surmounted by a white, creamy and persistent foam. The nose releases light aromas of hay, fruits and herbs. In the mouth, the fruity flavors of yellow peaches and ripe tropical fruits are followed by a strong and dry bitterness that persists for a long time. The aftertaste is extremely fruity.
