Amarcord La Volpina is an English Strong Ale beer with an amber red color with ruby reflections, and a rather compact white-pink foam.
Sweet notes of caramel and strawberries arrive on the nose mixed with hints of smoke and a slight resinous hint. Medium body, good fizz. The taste is both sweet caramel and fresh and bitter, with a refreshing and long-lasting balsamic touch.
As it warms up, the bitter notes become decisive hints of amaretto. In the retro-olfactory note, aromas of dried fruit and spices are perceived, with an almost pungent peppery note.
An extremely refreshing beer, with a medium body and good fizz. A pleasant and bubbly beer, with an effervescence that makes it thirst-quenching despite its beautiful alcoholic body.
It is perfect with fish soup with tomato, it goes perfectly with a classic from Romagna which is represented by beans with pork rinds, it is very suitable when drunk with sandwiches and preparations with Mortadella PGI or coppa di testa.
