The Cabernet Sauvignon Vigna Bragagna Garda DOC produced by Cantina Avanzi is a refined example of how the terroir of Lake Garda can enhance this international grape variety. Traditionally associated with wines of great structure and intensity, here the Cabernet Sauvignon finds its unique expression thanks to the special microclimate offered by the proximity of the lake.

The harvest is conducted manually at full ripeness of the berries, followed by a maceration on the skins that lasts about 15-18 days at a controlled temperature. This process ensures optimal extraction of colors and tannins, which are essential for the development of the wine's character and longevity.

Visually, the wine presents a deep ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, distinctive notes of ripe red fruits, such as blackberries and cassis, emerge, enriched by nuances of spices and light vegetal hints typical of Cabernet, which integrate harmoniously with notes of vanilla and toast derived from wood aging.

On the palate, the Cabernet Sauvignon Vigna Bragagna reveals itself as vigorous yet balanced, with good acidity and robust yet refined tannins that promise excellent aging potential. The finish is persistent, with an aftertaste that echoes the aromatic complexity perceived on the nose.

This wine pairs wonderfully with rich and structured dishes, such as braised meats, roasts, and game, but also with aged cheeses. It is advisable to decant it at least an hour before serving to allow it to express all its qualities. Ideal for those who wish to discover a Cabernet Sauvignon that best expresses the peculiarities of its territory.
