This label stands out for the artisanal production process that involves cooking the piñas in earth ovens, giving the distillate an aromatic complexity ranging from smoky notes to herbal and mineral hints.The taste profile of Mezcal San Luis is intense and vibrant, with a harmonious balance between the natural sweetness of the agave and the pleasant rusticity typical of the territory of origin. On the palate, nuances of dried fruit, white pepper, and a persistent, vaguely balsamic background can be perceived, inviting a mindful tasting.
