The Morellino di Scansano DOCG - Il Mago di O3 from Mantellassi winery is an excellent example of how passion and tradition can combine to create a wine with character and great pleasure. This wine, hailing from the picturesque region of Maremma in Tuscany, is primarily made from Sangiovese grapes, with small percentages of other local varieties that help create a unique and distinctive aromatic profile.

To the eye, the Morellino di Scansano from Mantellassi presents a deep, inviting ruby red color, bright and enticing. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe wild berries such as blackberries and cherries emerge, enriched by slight spicy notes and a hint of vanilla, evidence of maturation in wood barrels that adds complexity without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.

On the palate, the wine shows remarkable balance between acidity and soft tannins, resulting in a pleasantly harmonious drink. The structure is solid yet not overwhelming, with a persistent finish that recalls the fruity and spicy notes detected on the nose.

Il Mago di O3 pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, from the classic Florentine steak to more elaborate dishes based on red meats or game. It is also ideal to accompany aged cheeses and dishes rich in Mediterranean flavors.

Serve at a temperature of about 16-18°C to enhance all its qualities. This Morellino di Scansano is not just a wine, but the result of careful attention and dedication, capable of providing moments of genuine gastronomic pleasure.
