The Pouilly-Fuissé AOC "Le Clos du Pavillon" by Régnard is a selection of excellence that highlights the best of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, located in the Mâconnais region in Burgundy. This wine, produced by one of the most historic and respected wineries, represents the fusion between tradition and innovation, where the choice of particularly valuable vineyards translates into a Chardonnay of extraordinary expression and quality.

"Le Clos du Pavillon" is a single vineyard (or "clos"), known for its calcareous soil and its ideal exposure, which helps to create a perfect microclimate for the cultivation of Chardonnay. These unique conditions allow us to obtain grapes of high concentration and aromatic complexity, which are then transformed through winemaking methods that are careful to preserve the integrity and purity of the fruit.

Visually, the wine presents itself with a bright golden yellow color, a prelude to the aromatic richness that is revealed on the nose. Here, the Pouilly-Fuissé "Le Clos du Pavillon" expresses a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of white pulp fruit, such as pear and peach, enriched by nuances of white flowers, honey and a delicate minerality, which reflects the distinctive character of the terroir of origin. The measured use of wood during maturation adds layers of complexity, with touches of vanilla and hazelnut completing the flavor profile without overpowering the fruit.

On the palate, "Le Clos du Pavillon" offers an extraordinary combination of richness and freshness, with a balanced structure supported by lively acidity. The flavors of ripe fruit blend with mineral notes and elegant toasting, leading towards a long and persistent finish that leaves a sensation of refined complexity and harmony.

This Pouilly-Fuissé is ideal for accompanying refined fish and seafood dishes, poultry in creamy sauces, or as an aperitif for special occasions, enhancing the ability of Chardonnay to deal with complex gastronomic combinations thanks to its structure and depth.

With "Le Clos du Pavillon", Régnard demonstrates its commitment to producing wines that are both authentic expressions of the terroir and masterpieces of balance and finesse, cementing its reputation as one of the leading names in Burgundian winemaking.
