Simonà is produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes whose vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of about 130 m above sea level, facing south-west. After the harvest, the wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for a few months, with further aging in steel tanks and further rest in the bottle before being put on the market.

At sight it shows a beautiful bright and transparent ruby red color. The nose is conquered by its fruity aromas of plum, blueberry and cherry, to which are added floral notes of red rose, wisteria and violet, and a light balsamic finish. The sip is very pleasant, fresh, sapid and soft, of medium structure, with well balanced tannins and a long finish to be savored to the last drop.

Perfect in combination with first and second courses based on meat and medium-aged cheeses.
