The Spumante Aleatico Brut Anita Cotarella is an oenological gem that is born in the evocative region of Lazio, where the Aleatico grape finds an ideal terroir to express all its aromaticity. This sparkling wine made with the Martinotti method features a fine and persistent perlage that envelops the glass, anticipating a complex and refined tasting. On the nose, it releases intense notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, accompanied by delicate hints of rose and sweet spices, typical of Aleatico. On the palate, it is fresh and enveloping, thanks to a perfect balance between acidity and softness, which makes the drinking experience elegant and pleasantly savory. It is an ideal product as a sophisticated aperitif or paired with fruit- and chocolate-based desserts, but also capable of surprising alongside fresh cheeses with a delicate flavor. A tasting experience that celebrates the wine-making tradition of a rich and generous land.

Winery history
The family's roots date back to the 1960s; brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella founded the Falesco project in 1979. In the years that followed, leadership passed to the next generation and the group evolved into Famiglia Cotarella, expanding its vineyard holdings and acquiring new estates. The company has also conducted research and initiatives to recover local grape varieties such as Roscetto.
Production philosophy
The pursuit of territorial expression through the integration of tradition and innovation: a focus on enhancing indigenous grape varieties, experimentation in the vineyard and cellar, and training and social responsibility projects linked to the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are mainly located across Lazio and Umbria, with sites also in Tuscany. Soils are often of volcanic origin in the areas surrounding Lake Bolsena.
