The Vermentino Toscana IGT Arioso from Campo Alla Sughera is a refined and bright expression of the Vermentino grape, grown on the sunny Tuscan hills. This wine captures the essence of the territory with its Mediterranean freshness and the vibrant minerality that characterizes the calcareous soils of the area. After a rigorous selection of the grapes, vinification takes place in stainless steel to maintain the aromatic purity and liveliness of the fruit.

The result is a wine with a straw yellow color with green highlights, which on the nose offers aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, and a delicate hint of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is elegant, fresh, and savory, with a pleasant persistence that evokes notes of green apple and bitter almond. The Vermentino Arioso pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, and grilled vegetables, enhancing their lightness and aroma. An ideal bottle for those looking for a typical Tuscan white, fresh and Mediterranean.

Estate located in the heart of the Bolgheri region. A clear focus on Petit Verdot and Bordeaux-style blends. Zonation and micro-terroir approach Collaboration with Stéphane Derenoncourt's technical team. Also produces extra-virgin olive oil.
Winery history
The project began in the 1990s following a careful zoning of the land carried out by the Knauf family. In 1998 the estate acquired around 20 hectares in Bolgheri and began production focused on the particular vocations of each cru. Over the years the estate has developed micro-parcels, technical collaborations and has progressively expanded the estate with new acquisitions documented through 2024.
Production philosophy
Precision viticulture based on pedoclimatic classification of soils and division into parcels; respect for the ecosystem through targeted practices and choices aimed at reducing impact. In the winery, selection and carefully calibrated aging are prioritized to enhance the expressiveness of the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, in a band midway between the sea and the hills: sandy and marly soils, a climate influenced by the sea breeze and sheltered from the cold temperature swings of the hills, which promotes balanced ripening and the Mediterranean characteristics typical of the Bolgheri appellation.
