The Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy Whisky, packaged in an elegant 70cl gift box, represents a unique expression of the Scottish tradition from the Isle of Arran. This whisky is initially matured in American oak barrels before being transferred to quarter casks, smaller barrels that intensify the maturation process through greater contact of the whisky with the wood.
The result is a robust and rich distillate with character. On the nose, the Quarter Cask The Bothy offers captivating notes of vanilla and honey, paired with aromas of fresh fruit and sweet spices perfectly intertwined with hints of toasted wood. On the palate, the liveliness of pepper and the sweetness of caramel are perceived, followed by a complex range of dried fruits. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant trail of spices and dark chocolate.
This whisky is perfect for lovers of intense flavors and new discoveries in the world of spirits, ideal for gifting or savoring on special occasions.
