The Kilchoman Machir Bay Whisky is an extraordinary expression of the savoir-faire of the Kilchoman distillery, known for being one of the few remaining independent malt distilleries on Islay, the famous Scottish island renowned for its peated whiskies. This whisky is named after the beautiful beach of Machir Bay, located near the distillery.
Produced with a mix of whiskies matured in ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, Machir Bay offers an impeccable balance of sweetness and characteristic smoky notes. On the nose, intense smoky peat aromas are liberated, mixed with sweet hints of vanilla and dried fruit.
