An initiative of the Merano family, the winery was founded as a project focused on reinterpreting classic Ligurian wines using contemporary methods; ownership and management have remained within the family.
Production philosophy
To enhance indigenous grape varieties and the local territory through viticultural and cellar practices that reduce the use of chemicals, prioritizing respect for the grapes and the wines' sense of place.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are situated on the hills of the Golfo Dianese and in nearby areas. Soils range from calcareous in the Diano Marina area to more clayey, iron-rich soils around Albenga; the estate reports a total area of approximately 10 hectares.
