Winery Durin (Azienda Vitivinicola)

The Basso family has been involved in viticulture for generations. Initial plantings date back to the 1920s and the present estate was formally established by Antonio Basso in 1978. Today the estate maintains terraced vineyards in the Valle Arroscia and has expanded production and distribution of its wines abroad.

The estate seeks a balance between respect for tradition and a modern approach: showcasing indigenous grape varieties and steep terraced vineyards, producing wines that express the terroir, and maintaining a strong focus on quality, including the production of sparkling wines aged in natural environments.

Ortovero, Valle Arroscia in Liguria di Ponente; terraced vineyards on steep slopes and winemaking focused on the local appellations, such as the Riviera Ligure di Ponente and the Colline Savonesi.
