Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente is a dry white wine produced from grapes from the homonymous vine, harvested from the vineyards of Ortovero, Garlenda, Ponterotto and Ranzo, in the province of Imperia.
Its color is a delicate pale straw yellow. The nose gives off subtle and fresh aromas, with the characteristic hint of grass and yellow wildflowers, and a slight aroma of honey. Finally, notes of citrus fruits and woody resins are perceived.
In the mouth the taste is fairly structured, with a dry but delicately savory, fresh and soft flavour. With a pleasant and bitter finish.
It goes perfectly with seafood appetizers, stuffed baked vegetables and seafood first and second courses. It can also be enjoyed with pasta with pesto or with vegetables.
