Producer history Ancho Reyes

The product draws on an old tradition of ‘menjurjes’ from Puebla: the reference recipe is historically associated with the city of Puebla. Today the brand is managed as a division of Casa Lumbre (Casa Lumbre Spirits) and its international distribution is supported by the Campari Group (announcement of acquisition of a controlling stake published on 9 October 2019). Modern production combines local artisanal practices (hand selection of chiles, sun drying, maceration in neutral spirit) with packaging and marketing aimed at the global market.
