Producer history Ceschia

The story begins in Nimis (province of Udine) in 1886, when Giacomo Ceschia travelled the local villages with a mobile still to collect pomace and distil for local winegrowers. Production has been passed down through the decades while preserving historical recipes and artisanal techniques. In 2012 the brand and the facility were acquired by Molinari Italia S.p.A., which relaunched distribution while keeping production at the Nimis plant.

Production philosophy

To enhance the territory and the Friulian food and wine tradition: working with local raw materials (pomace from the Ramandolo hills and other local grapes), following historic recipes and artisanal techniques to obtain grappas and distillates with a strong territorial identity.
