This exemplary Blanc de Blancs Brut from Monogram is a Franciacorta DOCG that celebrates the excellence of Chardonnay grapes, cultivated with dedication in the prestigious vineyards of Franciacorta. It presents a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections, a sign of freshness and vivacity. The effervescence is fine and persistent, a characteristic that precedes a balanced and complex palate.

On the nose, Monogram's Blanc de Blancs offers a bouquet rich in aromas of fresh fruits such as peach and citrus, followed by delicate hints of white flowers and subtle notes of toasted bread and almond, resulting from maturation on the lees. On the palate, the combination of lively acidity and creamy body gives rise to a harmonious and persistent sip, concluding with a very pleasant sensation of cleanliness.

Ideal as an aperitif, this Franciacorta pairs splendidly with fish dishes, shellfish, or as an elegant companion to light appetizers. Its refinement also makes it perfect for special celebrations and memorable toasts.

Winery history
This is the story of Castel Faglia, a winery founded in Calino in 1989. The name evokes the former owner's ancient castle. After several changes in management, the Cavicchioli family took over the estate and developed its Franciacorta production and the premium Monogram line.
Production philosophy
Seeking a balance between intensity and freshness, with respect for the terroir and care at every production stage: hand-harvesting, grape selection, gentle pressing and careful blending of the cuvées. The winery also declares a specific focus on sustainable practices and responsible resource management.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the heart of Franciacorta, the winery sits on a moraine hill at about 300 m above sea level. The vineyards are planted on well-exposed terraces and benefit from breezes from nearby Lake Iseo, which contribute to a favorable microclimate for sparkling wine grapes.
