A blend of the 2016, 2018 and 2019 vintages by Tenuta Setteponti that highlights compactness and elegance. In the glass it shows a deep color, while the aromatic profile is centered on ripe red and black fruits, with hints of sweet spices and light herbal notes that give it lift. The palate is full but measured: good structure, firm yet polished tannins, and a balance between freshness and softness that makes it convincing and characterful. The finish is fragrant, with fruity echoes and a pleasantly savory close.

Best enjoyed after a short decanting, when the fruit and spice notes meld with greater finesse; ideal serving temperature around 18 °C. Effective with structured meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses, but also stands up well to mushroom-based preparations or intense sauces. A wine that combines the typical solidity of Tuscan reds with a refined texture, suitable both for the table and for more intimate tasting occasions.

Winery history
La proprietà è legata alla famiglia Moretti Cuseri dagli anni ’50; la Vigna dell'Impero, impiantata nel 1935 dalla famiglia Savoia-Aosta, è il vigneto storico dell'azienda. Negli anni ’90 Antonio Moretti Cuseri ha trasformato la conduzione agricola verso l'imbottigliamento sotto il proprio marchio, con l'uscita di etichette come Crognolo (prima uscita 1998) e la prima annata di Oreno nel 1999, che ha contribuito a elevare la notorietà dell'azienda a livello internazionale.
Production philosophy
L'azienda dichiara un approccio incentrato sulla qualità, la ricerca e il rispetto per il territorio: pratiche di campo mirate alla selezione delle uve, fermentazioni il più possibile naturali e un'impostazione orientata alla sostenibilità (i vigneti sono condotti in biologico).
Terroir and vineyards
La tenuta si trova nel Valdarno di Sopra, tra Arezzo e Firenze, in un paesaggio ventilato dal vicino massiccio del Pratomagno; i vigneti sono esposti su terreni variabili (sabbia, argilla e galestro), caratteristici della zona.
