The story
Hendrick's was launched in 1999 and is developed within William Grant & Sons. The original recipe was devised by the brand development team (including Master Distiller Lesley Gracie) and production was established at the Girvan facilities in South Ayrshire, where since 2018/2019 the Hendrick's Gin Palace, dedicated to research and experimentation, has been operating.
Distillation
Small-batch distillation using two distinct stills: a historic pot still (Bennett) and a Carter-Head; the two distillates are blended and then integrated with essences of Bulgarian rose and cucumber.
