Let’s talk about Gin June Pera 70cl - G'Vine

More questions

The Gin June Pera by G'Vine is a refined distillate, born from the skillful combination of classic French gin and the juicy sweetness of pear. Produced in the wine-growing regions of Charente, this excellence exploits the historic local tradition, based on Ugni Blanc grape and the addition of selected botanicals, including juniper and delicate spices, which are distilled in copper stills. The result is a gin with a balanced and fresh texture, where the typical juniper aroma harmoniously blends with the fruity and soft notes of pear, giving the palate a pleasant roundness.

After distillation, the Gin June Pera matures for some time in steel tanks, thus preserving its crystalline clarity and vibrant aromaticity. Ideal for a summer aperitif or innovative cocktails, it pairs perfectly with light tonics or citrus-based preparations, offering fresh and enveloping sensations.

A true tribute to the country across the Alps, which combines the French tradition of gin with the sweetness of fresh fruit.

The story
G'Vine was conceived by Jean-Sébastien Robicquet and launched in 2006 within Maison Villevert, a producer group based in Villevert (Merpins) in the Cognac area. The project leveraged local viticultural and distilling expertise to create a 'gin de France' based on grape eau-de-vie and the use of the vine blossom as a distinctive botanical. Over the years the range expanded to include bartending-oriented variants, a line of flavored liqueurs (June) and reserve editions matured in Cognac casks.
Distillation
Separate maceration of botanical families in grape alcohol, individual distillation of aromatic distillates and blending; infusion of the vine blossom in eau-de-vie and final double distillation of the assembled wash in the 'Lily-Fleur' still (the blossom also passes through a Florentine 'Flo' still).
Ageing
Generally gins are not aged; however there are special expressions (e.g. Nouaison Réserve) that undergo finishing in Cognac casks.
