This Special Edition Gin Tonic Lover Z44 set from Roner includes one bottle of gin, two tumblers and one jigger: a kit designed for practicality and a neat presentation at service. The packaging combines the usefulness of the accessories with the character of the spirit, offering a package ready to prepare and share gin and tonics at home or during small gatherings. The glasses have volume and shape suited to preserve the freshness and effervescence of the mixer, while the jigger allows precise dosing for a repeatable balance from cocktail to cocktail.
On the tasting side, the gin lends itself to simple, clean preparations; it is recommended to serve the drink with plenty of ice and a good-quality tonic to highlight the freshness of the spirit. I suggest regular measuring with the jigger, a twist of citrus peel or fresh botanicals to taste and serving well chilled. The set is ideal as a gift idea or for anyone wanting to set up a small home bar without complications.

The story
The business began in 1946 when Gottfried Roner started the first home production of spirits. Since then the company has evolved over generations, expanding its range from grappa and fruit brandies to a modern portfolio that includes gin, rum, vermouth and mixology products. Today the distillery is led by the third generation and has received numerous international awards.
Distillation
Predominant use of discontinuous copper stills; vacuum distillation in the still "Luisa" for certain products; declared double distillation for the rum; maceration for liqueurs.
Ageing
Variable aging: some spirits remain in stainless steel (e.g. certain fruit spirits), others (e.g. R74 Aged) mature for years in wooden barrels; the technique depends on the individual product.
