Advice to enjoy this wine at its best.

Let’s talk about Il Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT - 2020 - Jeroboam - Cassa Legno - Tenuta di Nozzole - Folonari

More questions

The Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 2020 from Tenuta di Nozzole, offered by Folonari in a Jeroboam format and presented in a wooden case, is a red wine that emphasizes the varietal concentration of Cabernet Sauvignon. In the glass it shows a deep colour; on the nose there are suggestions of ripe red fruit, light herbal notes and a discreet spicy accent. The structure is solid without excess, with present yet balanced tannins and a finish that tends toward a soft persistence.

It pairs well with flavorful dishes such as grilled red meats, roasts and hard cheeses; it can also accompany mushroom-based preparations and structured sauces. Before serving it is advisable to open the bottle some time in advance or perform a short aeration to soften firmer profiles. The Jeroboam presentation in a wooden case makes it suitable for convivial occasions or for those looking for a bottle to share in a group.

The story
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognition
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
