The Irish Gin Gunpowder, produced by The Shed Distillery, represents a true tribute to Irish tradition, with a touch of innovation at the heart of its place of origin. Made with selected botanicals, including the famous Gunpowder tea that gives a unique and spicy character, this gin captures the essence of the wild nature and Irish landscapes.
The artisanal distillation process gives this gin extraordinary purity and finesse, while its aging in a ceramic bottle preserves the scents and aromatic complexity intact. On the nose, herbal and citrus notes emerge, with slight spicy nuances that harmoniously blend on the palate, giving freshness and a balanced structure.
Perfect to enjoy neat or in refined cocktails, Irish Gin Gunpowder is an ideal choice for those seeking an original sensory experience that celebrates craftsmanship and the Irish terroir.

The story
Founded by Pat (PJ) Rigney (with Denise Rigney) and officially launched with its first distillation on the winter solstice of 2014 (21 December 2014), The Shed Distillery brought distilling back to the province of Connacht. The site was established in a converted building and has progressively expanded its range and international distribution.

Ageing
Maturation in ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso Sherry casks; special releases finished/aged in Marsala casks and Pinot Noir casks/finishes.
