The Marcillac Rouge Lairis from Domaine Matha is a distinctive red wine hailing from the South West region of France, known specifically for its authentic expression of the Fer Servadou grape variety, locally referred to as Mansois. This wine boasts a vibrant ruby red color and entices with its intense aroma of red fruits, spices, and a subtle hint of earthy minerality typical of the Marcillac area.

On the palate, the Marcillac Rouge Lairis reveals a balanced structure with well-integrated tannins that provide a pleasant roundness. The acidity is well balanced and helps to enhance the notes of currants and black pepper that develop in the persistent flavor.

Produced using traditional methods, this wine reflects Domaine Matha's commitment to quality and sustainability. With a potential for aging over a few years, it is ideal for pairing with rustic local dishes, such as grilled red meats or hard cheeses.
