It opens with a generous bouquet of acacia honey, syruped apricot and candied orange peel, in which the subtle presence of botrytis (noble rot) can be sensed, adding richness and depth. The color is a luminous golden, and in the glass the texture shows a delicate viscosity that invites a sip. On the nose there are also light notes of ginger and toasted almond that make the profile more complex without weighing it down; the texture is silky, with an enveloping sweetness balanced by a freshness that keeps the wine lifted.

On the palate it confirms a balanced structure: the sip is soft but vibrant, supported by lively acidity and a pleasing salinity that prolongs the finish. The impression is rich but never cloying, with a clean, citrusy finish that invites a second taste. This Sauternes knows how to accompany without overpowering — ideal with foie gras or blue cheeses, but it also works excellently with creamy desserts, nut tarts or simple fruit pies. The 375 ml bottle is perfect for two; serve chilled, around 8-10 °C.
