The story
Founded by Henrique Menezes Borges in 1877, H.M. Borges is based in Funchal (Madeira island) and has been family-run for generations. The company is known for purchasing, selecting and aging wines produced in the Madeira archipelago and preserves traditional production and aging methods.
Production philosophy
To preserve and enhance the tradition of Madeira Wine: careful grape selection, respect for aging times and production of fortified wines that reflect the island's territory and history.
