The story
Mr Black was launched as a project by co‑founders Tom Baker and Philip Moore and debuted on the market in 2013. The brand grew rapidly in the coffee liqueur segment, operating a roastery and production facility near Sydney (New South Wales). In September 2022 Mr Black was acquired by Diageo, after the group had previously invested in the brand through the Distill Ventures programme.
