In 1978, Floriano Cinti together with a group of friends bought the "Isola" farm in Sasso Marconi (Bologna) near the Reno river, to undertake a "common" experience in the agricultural sector.

Floriano immediately devoted himself to the vineyard: the first 2 hectares of vineyards planted in 1979, the first bottles, the agronomic management. With passion, he continues to learn, from every pruning, harvest and vinification, through training courses, in-depth studies and tastings, with curiosity and attention to other winemaking realities.

In 1992, after years of industriousness and personal and common growth, the dissolution of the cooperative gave Floriano the opportunity to continue the wine history as an individual company with the takeover of the farm, the transformation of the structure used as a warehouse in the cellar and the plant of 6 hectares of new vineyard in the Tignano area.

Over time the company has constantly confirmed a remarkable growth, through the complete investment of the land of the island as a vineyard, the planting of another vineyard in Tignano, the rental of other vineyards in suitable areas of Sasso Marconi, and the continuous technological updating of the cellar equipment.

The birth and expansion of the company in years where the culture of grapevine and wine was not yet as strong and consolidated as today, lead us to affirm that commitment, perseverance, study, passion, updating and the desire to do better and better have been the common thread that has given remarkable results, validated by acknowledgments and affirmations on the market, in a continuous search to offer an increasingly quality product.
