The Himmerleich Hof farm is located at 650 m S.L.M. in Castelbello, on the slopes of Mount Sole in the Val Venosta, in South Tyrol, his name is found for the first time in a document from 1590.

Here, the peculiarities of Mount Sole are exploited, which is so called for a reason, the sun shines for 250 days a year, the temperature changes between day and night are extreme and rainfall is the scarcest in all of South Tyrol. The Himmerleich Hof farm, Markus Fliri, produces wines with an interesting and strong character by exploiting these environmental conditions, but before 2000 the wine was only for his own consumption, then the winemaker wanted to increase production and propose it on the market.

The vineyards are located on morainic soils, with glacial sediments, which makes the wine production of great value, with genuine wines, straightforward and full of character. The ripening bunches are harvested manually to preserve the quality of the berries, the result of intense work.
