Poggio della Dogana Winery
Poggio della Dogana is a reality led by Francesco Bordini, renowned oenologist and the greatest connoisseur of the Romagna vines. Respecting the tradition linked to the territory and the long history of Sangiovese, its management of the vineyards, in a total organic regime, aims at the production of increasingly evolved native wines with the most current scents.
The vineyards extend over two hilly territories, both at an altitude between 180 and 300 meters above sea level in areas that have always been used for the cultivation of vines both for the composition of the soils and for the equidistance from the sea and the Apennine ridges. .
Starting from the grapes grown organically over the entire surface, the harvest is processed in the tank with soft crushing and destemming and constant fluid management at a controlled temperature until the product is bottled.
With the desire to pay homage to this corner of Italy and its enological history, 4 are produced Romagna Sangiovese with a strong personality, each with its own specific character and identity; and 3 proposals of white wines: Trebbiano, Albana and a quality sparkling wine Classic Method Pas Dosè.
