Winery history Antonelli San Marco

The estate, mentioned in medieval documents as “San Marco de Corticellis,” was acquired by Francesco Antonelli in 1883. The winery began bottling its wines in 1979.

Production philosophy

The winery grows indigenous varieties and vinifies only its own organically certified grapes. Its organic farming approach aims to bring out the character of individual vineyards and the terroir.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate covers about 190 contiguous hectares in the heart of the Montefalco area, including approximately 60 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards lie on hills at 300–400 metres, on clay- and limestone-rich soils.
