Winery history Ascendum

The Ascendum project began with the rediscovery of a family underground cellar. Antonio Armani began vinifying grapes in 1950 and in 1961 started construction of the cellar beneath the house. After decades of family activity, the project was relaunched by his nephew, Federico, who since 2022 has restored the cellar and reinstated traditional ageing practices.

Production philosophy

Production focused on mountain wines, with attention to the expressive quality of the territory and careful cellar work; the approach highlights a valuation of historical memory and controlled winemaking to express elegance and structure in the wines.

Terroir and vineyards

Production areas in Trentino/Trentino-Alto Adige: wines labelled Trentino DOC and Valdadige DOC, sourced from alpine and hilly vineyards, with references to vineyards at high altitude.
