Winery history Bertinga

The estate was established as an independent project after the acquisition of the eponymous vineyard from the Castello di Ama area. Following expansion, the Adine and Vertine vineyards were integrated, consolidating the estate's identity as focused on high-quality parcels.

Production philosophy

Small-scale, terroir-driven production: single-vineyard / single-parcel wines that aim to reflect the soil, altitude and exposure. The declared agronomic approach emphasizes organic farming and the enhancement of the Sangiovese and Merlot grapes.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in Gaiole in Chianti, the estate owns several crus on steep slopes and predominantly calcareous soil with some clay; some vineyards reach elevations of around 520–540 meters above sea level.
