Winery history Cascina Chicco

Founded by the Faccenda family in Canale in 1950, the winery has grown from generation to generation, expanding its vineyards in the Roero and the hills of Monforte d'Alba. Since the 2000s it has also begun Barolo production with vineyards acquired in the Castelletto/Ginestra area.

Production philosophy

Working to express the character of each cru: the winery favors cultivation in well-suited sites and practices aimed at enhancing the terroir, supporting production with technical and logistical choices.

Terroir and vineyards

Roero and parts of the Langhe: vineyards in the areas of Canale, Vezza d'Alba, Castellinaldo d'Alba, Castagnito and Monforte d'Alba; management of crus such as Valmaggiore, Montespinato, Rocche di Castelletto and other typical hillside vineyards of the area.
