Winery history Château Bonnet

The property is home to a château built in 1630. 19th-century records attest to the Perrachon family's presence as vine growers in the Juliénas area; the family moved to Château Bonnet in 1973. Subsequent generations gradually joined the estate's management, continuing viticulture and winemaking on the property.

Production philosophy

Family-run production with a "from vine to bottle" approach: the vineyards are estate-owned, the grapes are hand-harvested, and all stages are carried out on the estate. Winery profiles highlight care for the soil and practices compatible with Terra Vitis and sustainable management, maintaining an artisanal style rooted in the local area.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in La Chapelle-de-Guinchay and cultivates vineyards across the AOPs Chénas, Moulin-à-Vent, Juliénas, Saint-Amour and Beaujolais-Villages. These vineyards benefit from varied soils and exposures typical of Beaujolais.
