Winery history Demière-Ansiot

According to the official website, the house was founded in 1970 and in 1981 became Récoltant-Manipulant, leaving the cooperative to take full control of production. Today the estate is run by the fourth generation, with Nicolas Demière continuing the family tradition by working the vineyards in the Grand Cru territories of Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Production philosophy

The production aims to express the purity of the terroir: vineyards dedicated to Chardonnay, environmentally conscious viticultural practices, and the combination of traditional methods and modern cellar techniques to enhance the minerality and finesse of the cuvées.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located in the Côte des Blancs, primarily in the Grand Crus of Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; soils are characterized by a strong calcareous/chalky component, which imparts minerality to the wines.
